Stay True To Yourself

stay-true-to-yourself

Stay true to yourself. Don’t worry about what people think of you or about the way they try to make you feel. If people want to see you as a good person, they will. If they want to see you as a bad person, absolutely nothing you do will stop them.
Ironically, the more you try to show them your good intentions, the more reason you give them to knock you down if they are committed to misunderstanding you. Keep your head up high and be confident in what you do.
Be confident in your intentions and keep your eyes ahead instead of wasting your time on those who want to drag you back. Because you can’t change people’s views, you have to believe that true change for yourself comes from within you, not from anyone else.

Bond Of Love And The Truth

A very loving couple had been married for over 10 years without any child and it was becoming their 11th year.  Steve and Sarah stayed with each other and greatly hoped that they will have a child before their 11th year of marriage runs out because they were under persuasion from friends and family members to get a divorce.
But they couldn’t let go because of the strong bond of love between them.  Months passed and one day, while Dave was returning from work, he saw his wife walking down the road with a man.
The man had his arms around her neck and they looked very happy.  For over a week, he saw the same man with his wife at various places and one evening while Dave was returning from work he saw the man drop her off at the house after giving her a kiss on the cheek.  Dave was angry and sad but he didn’t spoke of it with his wife.
Two days later after a hectic day at work, Dave was taking water with a glass jug from the dispenser when the phone rang.  He picked it up and the person said, ”Hello dear, I’ll be coming to your house this evening to see you as promised.”  Dave hung up the phone.  It was a male voice and he was sure the person was the man he had always seen his wife with.  He suddenly became shaky with the thought that he has lost his wife to another man.  The glass jug fell from his hand and shattered into pieces.
His wife came running into the room asking, ”Is everything okay?”  In anger, he gave his wife a push and she fell.  She wasn’t moving or getting up.  Dave then realized that she fell where he broke the glass jug.  A large piece of glass had pierced her.  He felt her breath, pulse, and heartbeat but there she lay lifeless.  In a total confusion, he saw an envelope in her hand.  He took it, opened it and was shocked by its content – it was a letter.
It read:
“My loving husband, words cannot express how I feel so I had to write it down. I have been going to see a doctor for over a week and I wanted to be sure before I give you the news. The doctor confirmed it that I am pregnant with a twin and our baby is due 2 months from now.  The same doctor is my long lost brother whom I lost contact with after our marriage. He has promised to take care of me and our baby and give us the best without collecting a dime. He also promised to have dinner with us today.  Thanks for staying by my side.”
Your loving wife. The letter fell from his hand.
There was a knock at the door and the same man he had seen with his wife came in and said, ”Hello Dave, I suppose I’m right. I am Max, the brother of your wife”  Suddenly, Max noticed his sister lying in a pool of her blood.  He rushed her to the hospital and she was in a coma.  She had lost her twins.
Moral: We should not be too quick to take unnecessary actions in our relationship or marriage when we haven’t questioned our partner or spouse on what we saw or heard about them.  We all have our faults.  We shouldn’t be too fast to judge others.  Not everything you see, hear or believe about someone is true.  Always learn to control yourself under any condition or situation, irrespective of what you’ve heard or seen.

Greedy And Selfish Man

Once upon time there lived a greedy selfish minded man by name Sam. He generally craved to have parcels and loads of riches and never faltered to trick others to win cash. Additionally, he never wished to impart anything to the others. He was selfish to the point that he might want to claim everything for himself.
The self centered man used to compute every last little angle. He paid an almost no measure of wages to his servants. Wherever he went, he computed a ton to spare cash by misdirecting others. He additionally advised a ton of deceives ensure his riches. Just, Sam was the antonym for the expression; Trustworthiness.
On the other hand, he was taught a pleasant lesson by his own particular demonstration.
One day, he missed a little pack, which contained 50 gold coins. He was hunting down the sack of gold coins day and night. He sent his laborers looking for the pack, yet none could discover it. He told his companions and neighbors that he had lost a pack of gold coins and asked for them to advise in the event that they discovered it. Sam was sad to the point that he had lost such a large number of gold coins.
After a few days, a ten year old young lady, who was spotted close to Sam’s home, advised her dad that she had discovered a little sack and it had 50 gold coins. Her dad worked in Sam’s territory. He told his girl that it was his boss’ cash and he had lost it before two days and included he would give back where its due to his expert.
They weren’t extremely rich and the father could hold the gold coins with themselves and shroud the truth of discovering the sack. He was honest to the point that he ought to give back where its due coins to his expert, who truly owed it.
He provided for it once more to his expert Sam and requested that he check whether the pack had 50 gold coins. Sam who was truly upbeat to get the coins, chose to play a trap. He yelled at his laborer, ‘There were 75 gold coins in this sack and you provided for me just 50! Where are alternate coins? You have stolen them!’
The laborer was stunned to hear this and he argued to his ace that he gave whatever his little girl had found.
Self centered and covetous Sam did not acknowledge it and they chose to take the issue to court to get the right judgment.
The judge heard both the sides. He inspected the little girl and the specialist about the quantity of coins they had found clinched and they guaranteed it was just 50!
He interviewed Sam and Sam answered, ‘Yes master, I had 75 gold coins in my pack and now they provided for me just 50! They have stolen my 25 coins!’
Judge asked, ‘Are you certain you had 75 coins?’ and Sam nodded his head.
At that point the judge made his judgment, ‘Since Sam lost a sack of 75 gold coins, the pack found by the young lady which had just 50 coins doesn’t fit in with Sam and it was lost by another person. Moreover, if anybody discovered a sack of 75 gold coins, I would pronounce it has a place with Sam. Likewise, there were no cases against the loss of 50 coins and I request the young lady and his dad to take those 50 coins as a token of thankfulness for their genuineness!’
Genuineness is remunerated and insatiability is rebuffed!

The Value of Truth

Pravs J- The Value of Truth

Once a man came to the Prophet and said, “Oh Prophet, I have many bad habits. Which one of them should I give up first?” The Prophet said, “Give up telling lies first and always speak the truth.” The man promised to do so and went home.
At night the man was about to go out to steal. Before setting out, he thought for a moment about the promise he made with the Prophet. “If tomorrow the Prophet asks me where have I been, what shall I say? Shall I say that I went out stealing? No, I cannot say that. But nor can I lie. If I tell the truth, everyone will start hating me and call me a thief. I would be punished for stealing.”
So the man decided not to steal that night, and gave up this bad habit. Next day, he felt like drinking wine, when he was about to do so, he said to himself, “What shall I say to the prophet if he asks me what did I do during the day? I cannot tell a lie, and if I speak the truth people will hate me.” And so he gave up the idea of drinking wine.
In this way, whenever the man thought of doing something bad, he remembered his promise to tell the truth at all times. One by one, he gave up all his bad habits and became a very good person.
Moral: Make a promise to yourself : I shall always speak the truth. Simple is that!

Never Take Love For Granted

Pravs J- Never Take Love For Granted

A very poor man lived with his wife. One day, his wife, who had very long hair asked him to buy her a comb for her hair to grow well and to be well-groomed.
The man felt very sorry and said no. He explained that he did not even have enough money to fix the strap of his watch he had just broken. She did not insist on her request. The man went to work and passed by a watch shop, sold his damaged watch at a low price and went to buy a comb for his wife.
He came home in the evening with the comb in his hand ready to give to his wife. He was surprised when he saw his wife with a very short hair cut. She had sold her hair and was holding a new watch band.
Tears flowed simultaneously from their eyes, not for the futility of their actions, but for the reciprocity of their love.
MORAL: To love is nothing, to be loved is something but to love and to be loved by the one you love, that is everything. Never take love for granted.

The Ship Of Friendship

the-ship-of-friendship

A voyaging ship was wrecked during a storm at sea and only two of the men on it were able to swim to a small, desert like island.
The two survivors who have been a good friends, not knowing what else to do, agreed that they had no other recourse but to pray to God. However, to find out whose prayer was more powerful, they agreed to divide the territory between them and stay on opposite sides of the island.
The first thing they prayed for was food. The next morning, the first man saw a fruit-bearing tree on his side of the land, and he was able to eat its fruit. The other man’s parcel of land remained barren.
After a week, the first man was lonely and he decided to pray for a wife. The next day, another ship was wrecked, and the only survivor was a woman who swam to his side of the land. On the other side of the island, there was nothing.
Soon the first man prayed for a house, clothes, more food. The next day, like magic, all of these were given to him. However, the second man still had nothing.
Finally, the first man prayed for a ship, so that he and his wife could leave the island. In the morning, he found a ship docked at his side of the island. The first man boarded the ship with his wife and decided to leave the second man on the island.
He considered the other man unworthy to receive God’s blessings, since none of his prayers had been answered.
As the ship was about to leave, the first man heard a voice from heaven booming, “Why are you leaving your companion on the island?”
“My blessings are mine alone, since I was the one who prayed for them,” the first man answered. “His prayers were all unanswered and so he does not deserve anything.”
“You are mistaken!” the voice rebuked him. “He had only one prayer, which I answered. If not for that, you would not have received any of my blessings.”
“Tell me,” the first man asked the voice, “What did he pray for that I should owe him anything?”
“He prayed that all your prayers be answered “
Moral: For all we know, our blessings are not the fruits of our prayers alone, but those of another praying for us (Congregational Prayer). Value your friends, don’t leave your loved ones behind.
